Daya Vieja is one of the smallest villages in the Vega Baja del Segura region, in the south of the province, with only 3\'10 kms2 of municipal area and around 300 inhabitants. Situated on the left bank of the Segura River, it has a typical ‘huerta’ culture, and most of its activity is agricultural, as the clayey and loamy soil is favourable for the small-scale cultivation of fruit and vegetables. These fields are irrigated by the irrigation channels of the Recibidor and Señor. We recommend walks along the paths and lanes of the orchards. You can also enjoy the traditional ‘huertana’ cuisine.
